That's the point of the site/journal - that it's not fast and easy building an online business (which is the perception lots of the "gurus" like to paint).
October Summary My Niche Sites Well October down, VERY disappointing month for my niche sites (they actually LOST me money due to some refunds of high ticket items on Amazon). That being said, traffic levels were all up, even though I havn't had any time to work on SEO for my own sites. Just going to keep walking the line, as the first two days on November scored almost $100 in Amazon comissions to put me back on track SEO Work For my SEO work I've been doing for clients, had some major break throughs. After 3 months of beating away on a (relatively) competitive keyword, I've cracked the top 10 - 3 times! I have 3 of my client's sites (which I built) now in the top 10 (one of them sitting at #2). Another couple weeks and should be dominating the top 5 results! My niche sites are almost all ranking between #5-#20 for their respective keywords, so will try and push on them this month to see if I can capture any of those Q4 ad dollars before Christmas! Developing my SEO Empire I've been buying up high PR domains (just starting with expired PR2/PR3 domains - they are more in my budget) which I'm putting up around my network of shared hosting accounts (I have about 12 shared hosting accounts now from client work that I can use - IP/Nameserver diversity!). I'm hoping in a couple months to have 50-100 of these high PR domains that I can use at my disposal for clients and myself. Will make SEO efforts much easier and faster! My October Income Another overall growth month! Everything keeps moving in the right direction! I just gotta get my act together on my niche sites so they start paying some of the bills too!

Thanks - I have lots of plans in the works. Really my plan for the moment is to continue to build on what I have. I have recently started buying up high PR domains so that I can control a network of 50-100 high PR websites to use as backlink resources for myself and clients. I have my other resources (massive lists of high PR article dirctories, list sof social bookmarking sites, etc) all combined will allow me to deliver effective SEO solutions to clients, charging more money as I go after higher competition keywords. As I continue to grow resources such as thisBuilding my own network of high PR blogs with allow me to take on more SEO clients and deliver fast and powerful results. Of course, these resources are going to be utilized on my own niche sites as well to hopefully get them pumping the traffic and income within the next couple months. As income increases I'll continue to re-invest in my SEO assetes (such as high PR sites) and continue to build more niche sites.
That is really good but implore you to make sure you give quality services to your clients as this will be the backbone of your business.
I like your plans. Looks like you are not going to stop investing your incomes. That`s the real business. The incomes are for the bigger incomes. Good, I will keep my eye on this thread.
Best Advice: Don't QUIT your job to START an online business. KEEP your job and start your online business and leave when you ARE successful and want to take it to another level. Unless $452.86 was equal to or MORE than what you were making it seems to me that this was a poor decision.
If I was financially able to quit my fulltime job and focus 100% on internet marketing, I would. When I get home from my day job, I am often too tired to focus on it. If I could redirect that energy, I think I would be earning a higher income from it. I make some decent extra money each month and it is increasing (as I am getting more sites created and articles written) but to make your stuff quality, you need to have the time and energy to focus on it and you need multiple streams of income. I think that if you have to make money at it to live, it makes you work harder at it. The harder you work, the more rewards that you reap. Congrats to you for having that courage to make the decision to give it your 100%. My favorite internet marketer that I follow has a saying "If you are willing to do for a year what others wont, you can spend a lifetime doing what others cant" Good luck to you and hopefully, one day I will be saying that I left my fulltime job also
