My first month on CJ

What can I say! Commission Junction offer programs that are brilliant. I have had good success with my new site. My niche site got launched early/ mid January and I made $492 off it. There is a strong correlation between advertising my site and sales, but I only spent about $20 advertising this month.

Looking to double it every month until I'm a billionaire hehe!

My piece of advice is to get into the head of the user on your site and think what would be of interest to them. What would they deffo click on. Also the consumer goes through various decision making stages when making a purchase. I recommend making a site that provides information as close to the purchasing stage as possible. Finally made some use of my consumer behavior classes at uni!

Great work Bowdeni. You are up and coming super-affiliate. Is it primarily organic seo that you are focusing on with the site?

 

i am using Cj, but having hardtime converting them into sales, i get a lot of visitors from India and am unable to locate the right product for these visitors.

 

Ya the Indian community is tough...have you looked for any Indian companies with affiliate programs?

you said u spent $20 on advertising, by that do you mean google adwords?

i've never bought traffic for my bans sites...im wondering if i should...any thoughts?

 

Buying traffic and making your site cleanly readable for all of your product pages is essential. Especially since your site should do well if it is SEO'ed properly.

 

my sites are seo'ed well. the CPC's of the keywords i went to buy are $1-3. I just dont think the conversion rate will be high enough to make ROI. Are there other places to buy cheaper keywords than adwords?
