Hello, I just finished my first landing page. I'm looking any advice on improving it. http://www.autovideoscript.com Thanks
I agree, it looks like your standard garden variety landing/spam page but it is very plain. No colors, the header is quite boring and I don't think the dark background will convert well for a sales page. If you're advertising something as dynamic as a video script, you should have a dynamic landing page to go with it, if I were looking for video scripts, and clicked on your ad, I would not stay on the page to see what you have to offer. I just finished up my first "real" landing page myself, so I know how challenging they can be...you want something that won't waste your advertising money and that will convert, but I personally think the long sales page, with the yellow boxes and red squares are overdone and spammy. People like images, well matched colors, and text broken up into simple to read blocks, in a comforting font. you have to seel them without letting them know they are being sold to. If you want to catch my attention, your first sub header should be "How does it work?" ...that will at least get me to read the first paragraph. But first things first, you need to grab attention with images and a colorful header. This page the way it is, will give you a very high bounce rate. Remember to make a landing page based on what will sell and attract people to investigate "what's going on here?", or "is this what I am looking for?", not what you like. Lastly, you don't have a picture of the product ! People like to see a box cover, or something. You can't just tell them about it, you have to show it to them, even if it's a digital download, you have to have some kind of product to show.
