So, I've created my first landing page ever - there is one small technical review + 2 customer reviews + 1 youtube satisfaction video !

Anyway check it : http://www.dirq.info

Want to hear some feedback about this :D Good or bad - anyway it will help :)

Noooo, nooo.

Everything has to be in the centre, like on the merchant's page.

There's not enough to it IMO; nothing stands out.

To me, it looks more like you're trying to sell something.

It's your landing page, right? your review?

Howcome there are testimonials from other people?

Also what Joshua said, nothing really stands out. I had no idea where to look when I went to your site. I just felt like closing it straight away.

That's not a review, that's a sales pitch. It works too, Supper does that, but it's not as effective IMO as an "honest" looking review...

And it seems you're having centering trouble in NVU lol. It was giving me a really hard time when I used it... try

tags.

You might want to make 'Sharon Paisley' a woman, and not a guy in the picture.

Hi

Many of the replies have been correct. With your landing page you do need to make parts stand out.

I would recommend - place everything in the centre.

No break the page up, have the following settings with a heading for each. (the heading text must be bigger and a different color)

* Summary
* Benefits of product
* Review of product (search for reviews if you need ideas)
* Product features
* Testimonials
* Conclusion

Add a couple of images throughout and away you go.

You need to try and make the visitor feel as though your recommending the product instead of selling it :)

Hope that helps

It's too confusing. You need to direct your visitor in a path, don't just lay out a bunch of information all over the place. I'm afraid most people will see this and think it's a mess and just close the page.

Upon first viewing it does all seem a bit on top of its self, but nothing a good tidy up wouldn't sort out.

The whole point of the first landing page is that you can build and learn from it.

Personally I simply spent hours looking at how other people had their pages set up and sort of emulated some of the one's I thought looked most professional and best suited for my product.

I also gained a lot of experience about layout by creating Squidoo lenses. These can certainly be a great learning ground, prior to going for the big website.

Well whatever you decide to do I wish you every success...

Kind Regards

I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with the content of the site(granted I didn't read one word of it). It's just structured improperly in firefox.
