My first half day of adsense and 10 bucks! wow.

Just wanted to update the thread because I know many leave and don't come back to tell the good OR bad news.
But here is some good for all those people that need some motivation like I did when I started.

My site now makes just shy of 3700 a month with Adsense now. That is over half of what the site makes per month total.
I am 1-5 on any keyword in my area and the searches keep pouring in each day. Given the traffic that is out there that I know of I think it could make 800-1.5K a day if it dominated my three big keyword searches.

Things I have learned:
Not really hard work but smart work pays off.
Make your time count don't waste it.
Research keywords with Google keyword tool to find where you can fit in.
Research your biggest competition and find out why people like it. Do what they did.
Have fun doing it.

Reading most posts I expected to make less than a dollar. So I am shocked.

Thanks digitalpoint users for giving so much advice and great great info in all of these threads. This can really be life changing stuff!

Sign up for Hubpages and then sign up for Adsense through them...you get an Adsense account immediately!

BTW congrats to the OP...remember Adsense isn't consist with day to day earnings so don't be discourage if your earnings are lower in the next couple of days.

It's been 2 weeks... any update on your revenues? was it a fluke or do we have an adsense guru on our hands

 

It would be interesting to get more details. I would assume it was an existing site that already had decent traffic.

thats great, there is large numbers of webmasters making good money from adsense and like programs, it can become a living for some. Don't forget traffic will bring in the revenue
