My first forum. Review boards, and adsense placement.

Hey everyone I'm sort of lost when it comes to Forums. I've done a little research and came up with some ideas for boards. Can you guys please review my forum make suggestions about anything you think of? Here is the URL

Make your own logos get rid of the smf stuff is that default skin if it is change it

 

Yeah it is the default SMF... I'm not sure how to make my own logos and put them in SMF. I think i'll just try to get some templates

 

Anyone else have any suggestions?

 

My suggestion:
- to get it out of that.. "template feel" try adding a logo.. it could be as simple as a nice font (in white) with a thick border around the font (in photoshop > it's adding a stroke). Maybe a black border? Basically, a good logo will work wonder for your layout
- For adsense ad, you can fit a regular banner size ad.. to the right of the login information area? (use the same background as that area for good blending) . It's the perfect spot for your ad!!!

if you want to simply change the logo:

Tables look perfect. The menu and the logo part still need improvements. Welcome section takes too much space.
