This is eon here, am an automobile engineer, i used to sell used and old cars. I was struggling to develop my website finally made myself to start a website for my business. But i was having no clue about website development and whom to contact ,. I came to know about freelancer and other sites.,I have posted a job out there and was astonished by the replies that i have got.,In that replies someone was referring to go for a directory rather than a website. Then i do came to know that promoting other's business is also a way to generate revenue. Immediately started doing research in google and found lot of directory scripts. There the best part i came across is that so many script's demo itself having heaps of bugs. Then i came to warrior forum again and was reading posts., Yes there are directories available in net that are worth being mentioned here, so that other peoples will get a better options to go with, Wordpress with directory plugin Edirectory Ezydir esyndicat blackmonk It is upto ones own idea choose one out of it., But i preferred to go with Ezydir because of this features , 1 year guaranteed software update at free of cost, 3 months of free technical support. Unique theme for each and every customers. And i don't want to bombard with feature list here which may make you people to think that am promoting them, I feel like sharing this with you because it is worth mentioning here.
Thats a strange story- from own business website to directory I believe it should be interesting project. If you can afford at least 500$ on Ezydir script. What will be your next steps: hosting, domain, marketing ideas, SEO?
Which is exactly what you're here to do ... but hopefully people won't fall for it. It looks like a very expensive directory solution - what does it offer that competing scripts (half the price) don't?
Unfortunately, Ezydir was a little late to market, as the directory market is much smaller now. Might have done better if released a few years ago.
I have never heard before about ezydir. It costs $899 for that script. Very expensive! Demo is available on request. The price effectively discouraged me to request demo
The best one I ever saw is no longer made. I think it was called Business Directory Script or something.. Probably one of the first out there back in the day.
I don't get it. You spent $800 on a directory script for a site that isn't even off the ground or doesn't even had a business plan?
