I am pumped! Just experienced my first eCommerce sale ever! I am so thrilled to finally enter the world of niche marketing. The order was placed for $41.91, and it cost me $17.92 to drop ship the items. $23.99 profit! I have always half-ass attempted to try out niche marketing, and now I am finally making the effort necessary to make it work. I am not giving up this time! Adam
All it takes is to make that first sale. Once you see that your efforts work, then you will ramp it up. For me my first sale was $1.23 after several months. BUT once I knew I could convert others, I ramped the crap out of it. Because if there is 1, there will be more. Good job and keep up the great work.
Make consistent offers that really benefits your target buyers and this will establish your brand in other potential customers.
Had a sale yesterday and another one today! Total revenue is at $74.14. This is within about 3-4 weeks of opening. So far so good!
Thanks Mike! Had another sale this morning from Reddit! I am less than a month in (from when the domain was purchased and any development started) and I am at 5 sales so far!
The reddit sale cost $1.42. My cost per click for my optimized ad is currently at $0.06. I have found the cost of advertising on reddit to be much cheaper than Google Ads.
Congratulations! I've just purchased my domain name, getting nervous to take the step, but I'm going to do it. Your experience is very inspiring.
Just wrapped up my first month. My conversion rate for the month was 1.85%. I ended up breaking $200 in sales! No issues with shipping or product satisfaction yet. I'm about the implement a nice loyalty program, so let's see how that goes! The overall sales number might seem a little low compared to some marketers who clear 6 figures a month, but I have been limiting advertising to only the money brought in from sales.
