My very first ebook was approved by clickbank. I have no experience with clickbank, but I have made 10's of thousands with adsense and continue to. I'm sure I can pick this up.

Can yopu guys review my pitch page, and make suggestions?

    congrats :)

I think the site its a bit large, redesign the template...

Make this a question with bigger letters:
Prevent Divorce - Maintain A Happy Marriage - Learn From Statistics - Avoid The Pitfalls

    something like:

Who Else Wanna Mantain a Happy Marriage and Prevent the Divorce?

    Hope it helps :)

    thanks goodstar,

the template could definitely use some work. And the writing may be a bit large.

In the next few days I will be working on that!

Congratulations! But yes, just like most of them, the body needs to be smaller. Put a table with 0 size on there if you don;t want any tables showing and you'll be okay.

Flood, You have to use tables on your site, because it is too large.

Try to create a powerful headline with an enticing hook

    You have too much yellow.

The pink color doesn't look well (KNOWLEDGE AND ACTION)

Use an image of the eBook.

    Use bullets.

I suggest you to look at other similar products to see how the sales pages look.

I would have a few suggestions for you. First, its hard to know where your eyes should go as you read. The reason single column tables for sales pages are so good is because they naturally lead your eye down the page and eventually to the payment button or whatever else. I would use take out a lot of the yellow, create a simple ecover for your product and turn the whole thing into a single column table so it naturally leads the visitor from one point to the next. best of luck!

I think it should read "We have compiled..."

It may be a good idea to replace "document " with "report" or "guide" or something like that

    Hey-

I think your design is good. Most people are going to say it sucks because it doesn't look like the disgusting long-scrolling pages out there.

I designed one of my blogs to look actually quite similar to your pitch page and have found it to have ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING results. I'm not BSing either. I found my conversions trippled overnight by not beating people upside the head with information and graphics. An example single-post page that someone would be forwarded to from ezinearticles is here:

    http://www.fulltimerblog.com/ultima...-or-5th-wheel-for-all-or-more-than-its-worth/

It's simple and it sells, but it isnt going to win any beauty pageants.

By the way- I am eventually going to be selling this wordpress theme and am looking for beta-testers to see if they get the same results I have. If you are interested in testing it, PM me.

    thanks,

    Brad

I like the topic and the niche page, I think it is good that the pitch page is not extremely long, like some other pitch pages are.

I think you have a great topic here, floodrod, but your sales page is way early 90s. My pages on Mindspring in its first year looked like this. If you can't do it yourself, I strongly recommend that you hire someone with good design skills (definitely not me) and experience with clickbank.

I don't agree with the poster who said these kinds of products don't sell well. In the hands of a good marketer, any product can sell. The question is always, what level of sales defines success?

    Good luck!

    Hi there,
The copy for your sales letter is good, but HOLY COW that's a wide site. LOL. When it comes to webdesign, I only use the basics, but they seem to work well for me.

I work in tables to keep the text nice and tight. People are used to reading newspapers with very thin colums of text, so when you give them full screen columns, it complicates reading habits.

My template for the majority of my sites is a base table of 650 pixels centered on the page. Then a 500 pixel table inside, centered again. The text goes into the 500 pixel table and is easy to read.

    I hope this helps.

    Enjoy your day!
    Terry :)
