My first ebay store/site

After much doubting and criticism, I have decided to make an ebay site. It's still small, but I will continue to work on it. Please, check it out: hoppershopper.com

Two things I need to know:

1. Are the ebay ads geotargeting on my site? If you are in the UK or France, etc. can you, please, verify this for me? Do the ebay links take you to your country's ebay or the US ebay?

2. Does the tracking ID look something like: campid=XXXXXXXXXX ? And does it do all the tracking I will need?

No, I use the ebay partner network and I generated the sniplets from the ebay sniplet creator.

 

your adsense boxes are giving uk sites but the ebay links are to products in the US.

Nice looking site. However, you seem to have a problem with your eBay links. Your campid looks weird (campid%3D##########). You should check this out as it may affect your commissions and other stats.

Actually, I saw this too. I put the right campid, but when I click "generate the code", it converts it into what you see. I don't think that should be an issue. But thank you for bringing this up. I may ask the ebay support about this. (Unless someone on this forum has an answer).

ebay links are still in us when i switch to the uk, and I am in the UK. Why do u need someone from the UK to test this, if you have a explicit button to press to switch to UK anyway? Surely, it would not matter where you are from, as a specific action is required to change, rather than automatically switching to UK based on who is accessing your site.

 

Bummer. You see I thought maybe it it is showing the US links because I am in the US. I guess not. I generated a completely different campid in EPN for UK and yet it still gives the US links. I guess I am messing something up.

Not sure if I understand what's going on. My campids are 10 digit numbers not 9 as the help page claims it should be.

 

I have a follow up question. Did anyone generate a new campid in EPN? Does it have 9 digits in your case?
