Not worth selling. Keep practicing. Latest news is not even with main content. I'd take a look at some photoshop tutorials and look at a lot more web designs.
honestly, its not appealing but i know you can do better. Read up on colors, how they make or break. there are thousands of tutorial sites out there, read up, practice, repeat, rinse. (kidding) You get my drift?
I second that. Its good .. but i dont think there 'd be buyers for that.. you will definetly improve if you take out some ideas from templates in oswd, or some other sources..
http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html I use that site to help me with colors. It's AMAZING. It even has options for people that have different forms of color blindness. You should read up on CSS, people don't really slice websites anymore.
It's certainly a good effort for your first design. Keep practising and don't be afraid to look at other web designers and their layouts for inspiration. Also colors can play a major part in the design of your sites, try looking for some color chooser software etc, that can greatly help in getting the color scheme right!
sorry man,, you have done well for a first effort - but probably couldnt sell it - keep learning though, many good tutorials online, and you'll get there... i only started off with basic stuff then progressed, but you have potential!
See how the "Latest News" and "Main Content" don't line up? They should. Try posting your design for free usage, and see how well they are received. Then, once you build yourself a reputation (and experience), you can start selling them.
Its a good start, but like most people here are saying, not worth selling. The only way to get better to keep practicing and getting advice right here
