My first Contest Win On DP

    The contest was for a canadian football team logo

    very impressive. i like the design too.. i have also once joined a graphic contest but im unfortunate. and there are those people who held contest that don't actually announce who won. :D

    thanks for the very kind words guys
    i to am a new designer thats why i dont mind doing a few
    comps as i dont really have much of a portfolio atm so even if
    i dont win its still helps me to develop my skillsl and builds up my portfolio
    in the process.

    but yea i hate it too when a CH runs out on a comp
    i surpose thats one of the downsides of doing comps

    looks very professional, great! only small criticism is the font size for the word "Canada" and "mesoamerica" - a little larger than the letters on the picture and possibly a legible font

    I dont wanna judge the logo, but I would be carefull about copyright in your case.
    Check Neonic post. Create something that CAN be used for logo next time, because legally your client is not allowed to use it and btw its nothing unique which is really a must for any logo.
