My first blog..

Can i get some feedback on my first blog? The url is creatinejournal.com, link is in my signature. It's 15 days old, and seeing some OK traffic considering it's age. Good/Bad feedback, both appreciated

 

Quick glance;

Right sidebar is at the bottom of the page, rather than at the side of the content. (the banner is causing this problem)

Too many Google Adsense ads - looks like a made for adsense blog.

If your serious about blogging, get your own theme designed, or change the current theme to match your content - leafs and body building etc aren't a very good match.

 

Thanks, and too many adsense blocks? How many do you suggest..? Haha my sister looked at the site and said adzactly the same thing about the theme! I'll have a look around and maybe get one made

 

Looks okay in Firefox... Tho I think the Header Banner is a bit large as in Tall...
It's a nice clean site...

 

i guess you would get better response if you post this thread in Review section.

back to the question:
blog looks fine for a new one. the adlink looks well blended. But those three large rectangle is little too much. try getting a workout related theme.

 

I do not like the header. It does not reflex what the blog is about. I would try finding another theme.

but nice site, change header, and reduce adsense and maybe put the bb.com banner as a small sqare banner on the side...

 

Yep. I agree on the banner. Keep the same colours. Maybe you could find an image of a pair of running shoes (nikes), a water bottle and a sweat towel on the concrete or something like that. Otherwise it looks great! Well done!

 

I wasnt posting it for reviews on my adsense placement if that's what you were thinking , just in general? Blog n00b

i just popped over:

i love the banner, the fonts and the background image

i don't like the width - way too narrow... also, the right menu pane is pushed all the way to the bottom (below the main content pane) in ie...

good job on the site though...

You have an interesting design, domain name and i think that you can get some visitor if you make some publicity with your friends and forum users.
