My first blog, how do I get folks to comment?

1. Become a do-follow blog.

2. Submit your blog to several do-follow lists like the ones listed below:

3. make sure your posts force the reader to comment. I used to get my reader's so wound up that they would HAVE to comment to let me know what they thought before they left.

4. If you have friends who read your blog then ask them to comment. Some people don't like being the first to comment.

 

It can take over a year to get a good amount of traffic that will comment, I suggest that you just keep posting and advertise and after a while you will get comments. Also try making fake accounts and comment to spark some activity.
