So I started an idea a website / blog to document my travels / life and Go Pro use ...not highly original but it's purely for personal use and a hobby!

At first it was more a video hosting site .... But now I'm thinking more towards a hosting and blog ...

I'd appreciate some feedback on the whole thing and any advice, I thank you in advance

I like the layout - you've got it looking really good. Pages load quickly and given there isn't much content the photo size makes it look complete rather than neglected.

Bonus points for being a mountain biker but a helmet mount would have been better. Those trails looked like they'd groomed all the gnarliness out of them!

Nice layout, but I don't like the green overlay on hover - it's too intrusive, and hides too much of the image below. At least make it more transparent. There are also some small glitches between the tiles, especially on the last one on the right, between it and the image in the middle, there's a black border that comes and goes a bit. It's probably an artefact from whatever styling / scripting you're using, but you might wanna look into that.
As for the pages thereafter... you load a page with a huge image covering all the screen, and a heading not really telling anything - and when I scroll (I only visited one page, about canoeing, with two videos) the rest of that page look a little bland and "not finished". I might suggest keeping the background static, and just scroll content (perhaps with a background if you have text-content on other pages) over the image.
