    My first attempt at a blog.

    Not quite happy with the look yet, but im learning. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated

    Looking pretty good IMO.... I'm just sorting out some of this stuff as well, took the plunge and moved to WP1.5 (beta), for the new theme templates and functions, so far it's working well.

    But it looks like I'm finally getting some understanding of how the trackbacks actually work to some degree anyhows. Thanks for approving my test :) With some sort of organization behind it folks can really build a fast number of permenant backlinks. Well even without organization.

    Maybe you shall consider mod_rewrite for url's. It was really easy with wordpress even for me.

    Nothing quite that drastic is needed, just turn on "An administrator must approve the comment" option. Takes a little more effort on your part to approve comments/trackbacks, but it stops the crap from making to your blog.

    Looks good! I like your logo...The only thing I would change is to place the archives, fav sites, calendar, etc. into a side bar, rather then at the bottom of the page (or make them horizontally accross the bottom?). A side bar would make it more easily navigatiable :D
