My first adwards experiment: 1$ profit

    Hi
    lately i decided to use adwords to get more sales so i have deposit 25$ in adword account and i have bought a domain related to my niche and redirect it to the sale page
    so after 2 days i have 0$ in adwords account and 26$ in clickbanck account:D

    Any idea how to get more sales using adwords?

    Congratulations on your first try. While spending $25 for a $1 profit is not too worthed, its more than enough for someone just getting started.

    The trick with adwords is to track your keywords, pay more per click for the keywords that land sales (so you have more click) and remove the keywords that are not converting.

    Remember that at first a campaign will usually make you do under, but then it gets profitable.

    Try to find cheaper keywords ( for AdWords campaigns ). Last time when I tried to promote my product through AdWords, I spent only 5$ and got 2 sales ( 72$ in total ).

    i would definitely play with your bid amounts, try lowering them ... you don't need to be first on page to get the most profitable results ... you know, would you rather make 10 sales for $1 profit each, or 5 sales for $5 profit each ...

    I thought it was against the tos to have adwords domains redirect to another url.

    Your education was fully paid for - and you got a buck profit beyond it. That's the way you need to look at it. Lots of people's education costs them dearly.

    hey, you cut a profit, not bad for a first try man. I still remember when I made my first sale using the old Google Cash method, it was a nice one as well at $90, and I was only spending around .25 c per click, ahh those were the days : )

    If you haven't already, try setting up a landing page, either to review and recommend a product, or to capture emails and then put them in an auto responder.

    I have lunched a new compaign (i did some modification on my keywords) and i noticed a low numbers of clicks and i got my money back from the third click:D
    I love adwords:p
