My first 4 digits month is only $220 away

I'm ready to meet my first 4 digits month in few days. Not bad from a guy who didn't make $200 last December. But then I found this forum and after that my income just keeps climbing - Jan = 1st $500 month, Feb = 1st $600 month, March = 1st $800 month and it just keep going on.

Traffic: Google Sitemaps - after I opened an account at Google Sitemaps and made the sitemap, Googlebot has visited my site regularly and my pages get good results with key search terms.

Earnings: Positioning - earlier made my pages so that the ads did fit into the page nicely. Now I start from ads and I take care that visitors can really see my ads and then I try to fit my content nicely. Still I try to make my pages nice looking and readable, but I'm not shy with my ads anymore.

Other: Good quality content. My philosophy of good quality content is that it's allways an answer to someones question. For example, I have not found a good article about how I can balance the tonearm of my Technics 1200 MK-2 turntable. So where is the ultimate site of turntables giving all the information of them for free. Just build it and visitors will come - and lots of clicks to the ads.

To say the truth - no. The site from where I get majority of my income is a business directory - Paikalliset (Locals in finnish) - so when ever you are coming to Finland and need to find anykind of services from Helsinki, please use my directory, it's the best one

I've adsensed for almost a year but only manage to get about $130 to $160/m.

How are your weekends? Thursday + Friday + Saturday + Sunday may come up short. If weekdays are 50% more productive than weekends, you'll probably end up being US$25 short of your projected goal. Anyone want to take bets on it?

Yes, it will be close. My weekdays are normally between $40 to $50, but this month I had coulple of problems with my server. Weekend are more quiet - $25 to $30, but 30th of April is a big carnival in Finland. I'm afraid that the net will be dead on that day.

 

This is inspiring, how many websites do you run Jude, that locals one looks pretty good, if only I could read it. Congrats though, I had my biggest day yesterday, $3.81 off my Guns N Roses site, hopefully I'll have a post like this one day!
