    Good for you! Interesting site you're got there, but it took me a while to spot the Google Ads (and I was looking for them!). I bet you could improve your earnings a lot if you make them more noticeable.

    You are on the right track, atleast as far as i m concerned, since i also took the same amount of time, but then after that the increase in earnings was quick and currently averages around 80$ per day, put in extra effort with your site and once you are in the 20$ range the progress can be achieved much easily, the difficult period for you in adsense is over, basically the reason being that since you are already earning 20$ you know what it takes to make that amount and fine tuning your efforts should not be much of a hassle

    It is not that difficult to get high paying ads. I some times get $5 per click. It is based on the niche you are.

    I have a website with 10 visitor a day and earns me $5-$10 with a ctr around 50% and CPC ~$2.

    I have another website with 200 visitors a day and hardly make me $3 a day. CTR <5% and CPC ~0.1

    So it is niche and the targeted traffic matters.
