BTW Joobz, the quality of your landing page does not matter if you're just using the content network. All that you have to watch out for is that your ad is relevant to your landing page. For example, don't title your ad "Become A Millionaire" if that isn't what your landing page is about. If Google does let you get away with it, almost all of the traffic to your site will be useless.

Trying. I launched 4 campaigns yesterday.

I think my mind is just starting to work the right way. Just because my landing page is about "Chris Rock" doesn't mean I have to use all "Chris Rock" keywords. I could also bid on "Eddie Murphy", "Martin Lawrence", "stand up", or even "underwater fire prevention".

Actually, if your website is about a popular actor/actress or singer, I think you can easily "mass market" that considering the program you chose can be used by anyone.

That's true to an extent - and I've definetly promoted this theory quite a bit in this thread - but you should certainly be building landing sites with 10-15 pages of material and not just 1 page hit jobs.

15 page landing sites? so are you saying to make like a whole website with nothing but affiliate links?

I think he's talking more in the sense of a dynamic landing page. Use the same page, just use parameters.

For example, if I had a landing page for Netflix DVD rentals, I could market for the various keywords and their destination URLs:

    "I Am Legend" "mysite.com/landingpage.php?id=will+smith"
    "Alien Movies" "mysite.com/landingpage.php?id=cloverfield"
    "Jack Sparrow" "mysite.com/landingpage.php?id=Pirates+of+the+Carribean"

    Code (markup):
You could use mod-rewrite to make these static (so your QS will be helped when google visits):

    mysite.com/will_smith
    mysite.com/cloverfield
    mysite.com/Pirates_of_the_Carribean

    Code (markup):
This way, each page is relevant to the keyword(s) but takes a heck of a lot of work to set up but once you do, it can be very easily 'scaled'.

Probably wouldn't do very well in the organic serps but we're talking landing pages that we send click traffic to.

No, I mean having an About Us, Terms, Privacy Policy, Contact page, plus 5-10 pages of other unique content.... the classic setup for good QS on Search, still doesn't hurt to have it for Content.

First lp doesn't have affiliate links on. 1st page only have links to 2nd lp that have affiliate links. Or that is how I understand.

    Hi aj22 !

Let me take my 2 cents from you !
You said you're in the Content Network. Does it mean that you disabled search ?
    Thank you !

Hey, I know that everybody's on here talking about making A.J.'s technique on making $$$ with ringtones... but when I seen this post above, I just had to reply...

Is it just me, or does anybody else think that Cloverfield is the WORST movie in existence... I felt like I was going to vomit watching all that shaky camera action! :(

LOL... Are you serious? I thought I was going to die in that theater! My wife and I just had dinner, before we had the movie and I got motion sickness REAL bad during the movie.

And how was that girl who had that metal pipe lodged in her chest for like 6 hours, able to run like a Kenyan marathoner for the rest of the movie?

The only way Cloverfield would be good is if I could make money off it with ringtones (which just gave me an idea :) ). Then I would feel like the hour and a half that I lost out of my life watching Cloverfield profited me something :D

P.S. - You should be a professional movie critic, AJ! I loved your choice of words describing the movie

Hah. I actually started college as a Media Studies major (I'll be leaving as an Information Management / Web Development / Marketing type hybrid major).

I can agree with the motion sickness thing - it got to me for the first 5-10 minutes. If it bothers you the whole movie I can certainly understand not enjoying it.
