do you guys think tht becos google slapped a campaign would make the others ones not get impressions? I was doing some adult campaigns and got slapped and then when i tried to do some email submit and zip code submit campaigns, i never got no impressions with abt 500 to 700 keywords that i have supplied and nothing yet. So im wondering if it is cos of the adult campaigns i have run before?

Ebay was a low price keyword for $.20 a click. Unfortunately it seems that if your ad doesn't perform well your ENTIRE campaign will be affected.

Does setting your daily budget higher increase your exposure even if you bid lower?

Not in my experience. As a matter of fact, setting the budget more then 25% higher in one day has made my campaigns crap out and pause for up to 3 days before gaining traction again.

If you want to increase budget I'd do it in like 5% increments. I think Google has an algorithm built in that says if X budget is increased by > Y then put it under manual review / slow it down. Just my theory.

    2 things...

    - Isn't adult content prohibited on Adwords? Depending on how adult the adult content was, your account may be in some sort of suspension or under manual monitoring.

    - I think Google is doing everything in their ability to rid their network of zip and email submits, they are tough to get going (unless you get creative).

So, that's kind of a double-whammy you got there.

BTW Aj. You said that you set your ads to only appear throughout the content network. Why is that?

No, he's not saying that [opt-in e-mail] list building sites are not allowed... what he's saying is those little affiliate offers that pay you out $.15 per e-mail address they receive from your customers [e-mail submit pages] are being put on Google's hit list.

Yea, exactly. If you search around, about 1-2 months ago Google unleashed its latest hit list, and these types of offers were on there.

Because the content network reaches (in theory) the whole Internet whereas Google search only reaches people who go to google.com.

Both have huge lists of pro's and con's ...

You're just realizing now that I only used CN for my ringtones campaigns?

Oh, dating is allowed. "Adult sites" usually mean something else, ya know.

My campaign is looking really terrible now. Is there any way to re-vitalize your campaign after you've been a little Google slapped for not having enough clicks for impressions? I started a brand new campaign but it seems that my previous campaign with the "ebay" keyword is affecting the new campaign. $1.00 a click will end up being really costly in the end.

Yes, every once in a while I forget to take a campaign off of Search.

That's when I usually get crushed. Unless you're trying to profit from a current event or something, it's usually not worth it in my book.

Just to let you know, your sales letter area on your website moves to the left in Firefox.

If you're Google slapped on CN you would get 0 impressions - they would just shut it off. Buy a new domain, make a new campaign and start over....

And just as a bit of clarification, seems to be some confusion - I operate solely on CN for my ringtones campaigns. I don't use search.
