Not to respond specifically to labrocca but also others who expressed the same view earlier in the thread: you are ignoring disparities in purchasing power and the cost of living, that is, the fact that in certain countries, $300 per month is not bad at all, especially if it's just extra income. I mean, just because it doesn't float your juggernaut...
Congrats! I'm almost there - I've had a few over $8 days, but the $10 mark still seems elusive at this point.
Internet Marketing is an art... Some people need to learn thing before they go making $500 a day... Remember most of have very little invested other than time into our ventures, as compared to a normal company... I can say I have approximately $5k of my own money over the course of 5 years in my websites, and I have gotted about $10k a year out of them so far... For the amount of investment you can't beat the return... Plus I'm sure this is something most of us enjoy doing, so it's more of a hobby that can pay off than anything else...
My website is new. I've been making under a dollar a day and some days nothing at all. Since there are so many garden sites out there, I'm at a loss at how I can get more visability for my website. Maybe you all can give me some helpful tips on how to generate real time visitors for my website.
Nice job. Soon you may see $100/day and maybe in time $1,000 a day.... When I started with Adsense I was making about $2-3 a day so it is possible.
Hey, I forgot about this thread! Since it's been bumped I thought I'd give everyone an Adsense update... I now make more than $10 virtually every day and have had a few $20+ days. Things are looking up!
It's a webmaster forum and i don't understand those people who say "Give up, you can't make it". 10$ per day is SOMETHING. At least it means that if you build 5 more pages like that, you will earn nearly 50$ per day. All of us starts with small amounts but i really dont get it when some1 post some silly msgs. Keep up the good work and hope to see your 100$/day msg as soon as possible. Good luck dude.
I remember about a year ago when I use to get around $10 a day on the gaming part of my site, then suddenly on a thursday my clicks were just the same as what they normally on the gaming section but my earnings just went up to about $97 for the day from the gaming section alone. The day after and things were back to normal. Thursday comes again and then I then had about $117 for the day on the gaming section alone with normal about of clicks. I started to think things looks a bit odd so I quickly sent Google an email telling them that I think something may be wrong. I had an email back from them telling me things were alright and all these earnings that I had didn't get deducted from my account as they were not fraud or they were not wrong. At the time I was very happy when I saw these figures coming in. Now I get these types of figures all the time, but I need alot more clicks to get them to what I had to get the days I were getting that amount on a thursday. I only had it like that for two thursdays though. But it was nice while it lasted. Thanks to the advertiser that bidded over the odds for the ads that were clicked on my site. I just hope that my traffic converted for him/her.
what if month 1 the site made $.50 month 2: $.75 month 3: $1.50 month 4: $4.00 month 5: $7.50 month 6 : $10.00 i'd say this is a good site if the growth has been consistent through its lifecycle. i'd buy a site like this
A site that keeps growing every month is good, but the following growth that you mentioned above is not much. If it takes six months to start earning 10's then you competitors will most probably be much ahead of you. I can see where you are going though. If it keeps doubling it's income then after the 12 month it will be around: $600 - $700 dollars, which is a nice little income. But not many sites would grow in this way, if you want to grow a site in this way then work has to be put into it every month.
My site 2 months old now 1rst month =.45 cents 2nd month=2.85 cents something is better than nothing . So far i learned it all depends upon not the good content on site. But How you use SEO techniques to make your site searchable and adsense ads layout ...
i would say that $600 to $700 a day for one site is more than a "nice little income" but like you said, it would probably level off somewhere before that, though. many of my sites come out the first few months growing like wildfire, then bam - taper off. that seems to be the standard "sandbox" pattern in google.
that's more than 5-fold growth. i wouldn't be sad about that. if you continue that growth rate, you'll be making dough in no time. "the magic of compounding adsense revenue!"
