My Firefox Is Unstable

I've never had a problem with Firefox before and have never regretted dropping IE as my primary browser, but since the last update Firefox has been unstable and is throwing an error half of the times that I try to start it. I have unistalled and reinstalled and it hasn't gotten any better. Has anyone else here had problems with Firefox?

 

What plugins are you running?

 

I have some problems with the new FF in ubuntu, but not in xp.

 

Have you tried to put it in safe mode and undo the plugins?

 

My firefox also crashes sometimes... when any popup window opens

 

My Firefox likes to freeze randomly, I have to close it down before I can use it again. Gets proper annoying, I never realised how much of a memory intensive program it was.

 

Get a new PC. That will fix it for sure. That's my remedy for any PC problems.

 

I'm deffo looking at getting a new pc soon.. Parts are extremely cheap now and it's very easy to make a really good pc for slightly over £600. New PC for christmas!

 

Check your plugins. Clear the private data if FF is slow.

 

Time to switch back to IE!!

 

Firefox has a safemode try it.

 

How do you try Safemode?

Reinstall of 2.0. No alphas, like I was using.
