    is right here

Does anybody know something about it such as level of security and script availability?

    It looks simple and fast...

It is good but I cant add up lol glad they dont do them like

    6 + 20 x 100 / 3 = then x by 3000 =

lol that would make it hard for me :)

I really think that these should be added to all sites as it is a better way :)

Not only does it look simple, but it is very simple, hence very easy to circumvent.

    From the source:

Very, very easy to get round! Probably the only reason it is used, is because this type of captcha is rare enough to fall under the radar of most bots. It's probably a custom one, only used here.

Yeah, it's definetely something worth looking at, right? :)

I suppose he's getting quite some traffic from this thread (at least for the submission page) and I'm glad for him!:)

    Hey mates :)

    thanks for the words..
Heh, yea Im very well aware of the ease to get it around with a script. Actually just made it as a quick fix towards some "zombie pc" signups I had some months back, but it still holds them away, so havnt updated it further yet. :D

If any of you want the script, just pm me. I can code a php or asp version whatever is desired. Will look into upgrading it tonight with some more security

20 minutes, and its it is updated.

Ok, if you still think this, then I would like you to try and break the validation. Ofc its not bulletproof - far from, but not everyone can get through it now

This doesn't surprise me at all. All you need is something that's a little bit different to everyone else's and it will keep the bots away.

You probably didn't need to upgrade it, except for your own peace of mind. For your autosubmitters, the time that it would take to figure it out would be better spent spamming someplace else.

I know the post is some months old, but I have been getting a couple of emails through this post for the ASP/VB code to the script.
I have put a simplified version of it here: Validation code script

I am also working on the final details on the PHP version of it, and will notify when its done.
    cheers

I'm not sure that putting this script online is a good plan. What directory owners can use, so can bot programmers.

It won't be a problem so long as the script is only used on a few sites, so probably the best thing would be not to leave it up for too long. I think the key is that this script worked for you mainly because it was different from everyone else's: too much hassle to hack, just for the sake of one or two directories.
