Well, I'm new to this Facebook Marketing. I had researched around before creating 2 Facebook pages. One for my company: http://www.facebook.com/pages/One-Fifty-Threads/131050703641701?sk=info And one to drive potential customer to above page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Suit-Up-Your-Hero/251434624874745?sk=info Methods that I am using: Social Bookmarking: stumble, reddit, digg, delicious, oneview (just add the link not really contact and asking for recommendation from other users) Twitter & YouLikeHit. I post this to ask for advice and to show the page development. I think it's an interesting idea.
Hi Andy. In my own opinion, you need to develop the page before seeking for traffic. Get the page to a point where your visitors are easily seized. You may need a Welcome Page plus other applications. check here http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=167969729896883
Thank Crystal, I go for static html application. The welcome page is boring now because I do that myself but after our developer have free time to work on it, we can have a more customizable page. Well, I spam around Australian fanpages for people attention. It start to get good & real fans (17). And sorry if any of readers can see the page, I set it to only show to US, UK, Canada and Australian ppl.
Day 1 report: Main Page: 112 fans (20 fake). Most of them come from spamming another pages effort. Sub Page: 5 fans. lolz, I'm not really care about this page, but I will update more content and then buy traffics from firverr (the one who drive traffics from facebook pages, not twitter). With a nice content, I believe I will get a good number of like.
After nearly 2 weeks: https://www.facebook.com/150threads has 483 fans https://www.facebook.com/HeroSuitUp has 286 fans The problem is 2/3 of the fans is SEO person just like me, so there is no way they convert to customers. I also be banned for posting spam, because I want quick result for 2nd page so I spam too much. I'm going for Facebook ads next week, CPM are cheap but my niche is a little small so CPC might not too bad. What do you think? p/s: I also have a little affiliate programm for anyone who's interested. If you have a Facebook page with a lot of male fans, age 24-34 and want to make some easy money, please contact me. I sell custom suits/tuxedos and if your fan buy from me, you get $3/suit (your fans buy under 20 suits) or $5/suit. Yeah, yeah, I know it too little comparing with the offer you see in Affiliate Marketing section but this is real and come directly from the business owner. You will get your own coupon code for the sake of your page reputation.
