Why do you assume it's the owner of that site, SM? I don't know who it is, by the way, but "Hutcheson" is basically finding examples of the real Hutcheson's abusive behavior and posting it publicly. Personally, I think that's a worthwhile project, although I would also understand if DP objected to being the forum for that project.
just that...i am making an assumption...could be wrong though. the fake Hutcheson could however post his two sites that got booted...and the one that was on the waiting list, HERE. for review by our expert "should have made it into DMOZ" team. like the DMOZ team, we have nothing better to do than review other peoples sites all day I am always interested to see dmoz's rejections....good learning tool
what is not so funny though is when head editors from DMOZ are browsing my forums and warning an editor about posts made in my forum, that violates freedom of speech.
I don't think that's the intent of the thread... I think it's more to document the outrageous abuses of certain DMOZ editors at RZ, especially this one.
Yup. I stop by from time to time to keep up with the latest news . I promise not to disturb the calm serenity around here with rowdy or argumentative behaviour.
hats off to you, Jim. You are very good about it, too. Wished more were like you. I remember 2 years ago when John Scott argued with you in his forum and you said you wouldn't come back if he kept it up, and you gracefully left. This does not reflect my overall feelings of DMOZ, just you as a person. I know when to differentiate and not label everyone the same Welcome to DP. Mike
And by the way, I kinda like the idea of an "ego stork"... delivering little bundles of ego all over the world to all the poor lost souls condemned for eternity to living in their mothers' basements
Which is a point: How come Daniel Brandt doesn't already have www.dmoz-watch.org Do you think he's an editor?
nothing to see here...move on will someone hurry up and post something GOOD about DMOZ ...please. i can start with I have a site listed that wasn't even submitted. Which shows they do more than just look at submissions.... which of course i am grateful for.
Hey! Start your own thread! I can hear the sounds of tumbling tumbleweed and the faint howling of the wolves off in the distance in that thread from way over here...
