My ecpm soared after filtering MFA sites

Is it because i filtered some MFAs or Adsense simply paying higher today? My earnings went up 200% after i filtered some MFS sites.

Coz since september they've been paying very low, until today that i've filtered MFA sites. Coincidence?

I need your opinion guys... Thanks! :D

Filtering MFA sites helps a lot. There are people who don't like to follow this practice at times. You need to make sure you filter the right side.

Just out of curiosity, did you lose relevant ads?

Johnchow.com has an interesting article about this over on his blog. There is a tool which you log in to, provide the URL and 20 keywords and it gives you a list of 200 MFA sites that would probably need blocking. 200 is the limit from what I have read.

Filtering MFAs surely helps in increasing earning to some extent , though 200% increase is good enough , by filtering alone . Good Luck ;) :)

Yeah, filtering MFA sites is a good call. Most users can tell the or MFA site right away by the phrasing of the ad.

How do you manually get rid of MFA sites I have never done it but when you get 100+ clicks and under $10 you just wonder if that is the cause.

Log into your Adsense account and then go to the field that allows you to filter competing sites and type in your list of MFA sites.

" dont click " on your own but grab the url of the ad and then check if its a MFA or not . If it then log in to your account and go to filter section ;) :)
I am again saying ,Dont Click on your own ad to check if the ad is from MFA or not .

yup i never expected it to be that effective, seems like my site's been serving MFA sites for quite some time now. I could've earned much much more when i filtered them like months ago. I was hesitant at that time coz iv'e seen some threads that says it doesn't apply to everyone, some even reported lower earnings after filtering MFAs. was a good try for me though ;)

    Mathew,
My post also contains a link to AdsBlackList which is a service that manages the MFA lists. That was the point I was trying to make but maybe I should have included it in the actual forum post and not referred people to this post. I just thought it might make sense.
    No offence.
