phpBayPro states -List auctions from 14 different countries Does that mean I can display uk and usa items on the same page?
i use the same script. check out http://fenderbluesjunioramps.com Well worth the $40 i pain. Plus GTech is a huuuuge help if you have any questions!
I'm new to how these php scripts work. Is is possible to modify it to use my Auctionads Id instead of the regular ebay affiliate id? I'm thinking this way I can maximize my commission rate.
does phpbay pro have the function to add pages - like with BANS it looks like you can continue the thread X amount of pages
Hi ianternet, It does not have the ability. Rather, it gives you the freedom to build your own pages the way you like. You could build a system/program in php that would take a long list of keywords to auto-generate pages based on the keyword, with a template design. There's a program out there, called RSSGM (not sure if it's still around) that did this sort of thing.
gtechs thanks - I am leaning towards phpbay pro because of the easy customization with WP and BANs I like is just the ease of use page numbers and simple categorization also does phpbay pro use deep categories like the categories of subcategories like in ebay?
phpBay doesn't pull in categories, however, you can use a category number in the results you pull in. Sounds a bit confusing, but really it's not. Think of each page as a separate entity that you want to customize. You can specify the keyword, the category, the number of results to display, exclusions words, min/max bid, min/max price, and several other parameters, per page. It's less about building quick automated sites and more about control over what each page is about and how you set it up. Once you see it in action and see how easy it is to setup, it becomes a "snap" to quickly add pages.
It is a wordpress plugins that allows you to display ebay items in your blog. To know more of PhpBay Pro just follow this link http://www.wiredstudios.com/phpbay/phpbay-pro-ebay-software-to-display-auctions.html
Gtech I was wondering if you could put a specific seller and or specific item using this software? thanks
A specific seller, yes. A specific item? I've never tried this, but I would think if you listed the same title, the auction would come up. In fact, you could list a specific seller with that specific title and probably narrow it right down to that item only.
You can simply use the auction ID number in the RSS search to get a specific item. I'm guessing it will work with phpBay Pro.
