if its your rpc then you know why you are down. advertisers in your niche have probuably dropped their bids or dropped out completely. not much you can do there but try to increase your ctr or get better advertisers.

good luck. my experience (whether its valid or not) is that blocking an advertiser brings in a lower paying advertiser to take its place.

    About $0.95 - $1.05.

Don't block advertisers, when I tried that, I just ended up getting lower paying advertisers and then eventually running out of advertisers in my category (resulted in blank/nothing for the ads).

I dropped YPN about 6 months ago when their payouts started to tank. In the early days when they went live, they were paying out awesome to make up for their poor contextual performance. Well they never improved the performance of their ad matching algorithm, and they dropped their payouts. Not a good combination.

I would recommend going back to (or trying out) Adsense. Their ads perform better, and their pay is consistent.

    Good luck!

their pay is consistent until they decide to ban you, with or without good reason, and keep the money you've made with no chance for reprieve, explanation or even the chance to talk to someone and defend the accusations made against you. no thanks. G makes enough money cheating people. i wont say it, but you know where they can stick it.

What's you site? PM details and I should be able to show you how to get that amount up with little work. There is no guarantee, but I'm pretty confident I can help.

    Incredibly wrong.

Nobody knows for sure but I have a theory why this is happening. Your RPC is decreasing either because they lower the payout % over time or they are some how tracking conversions/traffic quality.

My RPC dropped from $5+ down to 18 cents. I switched over to a different account, and it's right back up to $5 ;)

no its not. but thats not the point of this post.

yoyo, thats pretty interesting. have you noticed that over time the transferred account also starts to decrease? and if so, does switching it back over again increase the "rev share"?

also, its not incredibly wrong, it is a valid reason why rpc could be going down, but by no means the only reason.

I just made the switch not to long ago, and right now RPC is holding steady. On my other account it withered away slowly over the last year (and a ton over the last 2 months). So it's not an overnight deal.

It's a valid reason that people use (and assume) way to much. Online advertising is expanding and growing exponentially, niche-fulls of advertisers aren't just dropping out ;)

One way to disprove this point is to go type your keywords into overtures view bids tool and you can see exactly what they're paying as opposed to what you're being paid.
