Here's a new one: I was expecting to exceed a certain figure for the month today. All I needed was one more click. I just checked my monthly earnings in my account and, sure enough, I registered a click that should have put me over the expected figure. But when I look at my earnings for this month, they are LESS than what they were yesterday. There is absolutely no way I clicked on my own ads. ( I can't believe I'm saying this because I've always looked upon people who've said this with suspicion) The only possible explanation is Google is adjusting for my own page impressions to my site (I tend to visit my site but I don't think as much as they seem to have adjusted my earnings for) and, as far as I know, it's not against policy to visit your own site. Barring cheating on my part, does anyone know why Google would do this? Don't they tell you when and why if they make an adjustment?
ah never mind...my earnings are not down for the month...i confused dollar increments with time increments...
