Hi @yaros, I need your help. I started a dropshipping store and selected a niche along with the plugins needed but when it came to my theme and I used Davinci theme which I guess is developed by you. I activated it on my store and opening my site now gives an HTTP ERROR 500 which I guess is caused by the theme not integrating with woocommerce. I came to this article https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/utm_source=notice&utm_medium=product&utm_content=themecompatibility&utm_campaign=woocommerceplugin and there are 2 ways to resolve this issue but could you tell me which one would be better and if possible guide me through the process. Thanks in advance. I already messaged you on skype with the username tanki381.
DaVinci theme does not support WooCommerce. It can be only used with WordPress and AliDropship original plugin (not AliDropship Woo version).
Hello, anybody here has real life experience about alidroship for woocommerce ? Not the usual spam sh*t posted all over the internet please. Thank you.
What I meant to say was that do u include the epacket delivery price to your product when adding to your website and then make it go through your pricing formula or do you only price your product with it's aliexpress sale price?
Hello, I do not like to let many plugins enabled on my Woocommerce shop because plugins often slow down websites and are more chance to be hacked sooner or later. Do you think that after having imported the products I can disable the plugin ? I know that I won't be able to order automatically from Aliexpress and will have to do it manually, but it's not a problem for me, as I perfectly know that I won't have hundreds orders daily. So is it possible to disable the plugin after having imported the products from Aliexpress or do we NEED to keep it enabled ? Thank you for your help.
I really used to love that plugin (and theme) but now I'm starting to regret all the 200 hours I have putted into this. For some reason when i upgrade the DanVinci theme all my website go back en english. ( It's originaly in french) And the dev team keeps updating the live theme. Now my website have an 100% bounce rate because they can't fix this. And this is only one of the many problems on my website. I'm losing all my SEO effort and trafic because they don't care. Why do they beta test their update on my live website? Can't they do this on a stage website? I don't understand. I'ts not the way to do business. All my efforts in digital marketing are going to waste. I have to restore an old version of my website everytime they go on my CMS and update the theme. This is only one of the many problems on the website. Every update gives me headache. And the dev teams can't fix anything. I really don't know what to. www.nouslesvoyageurs.com
It is not a wordpress woocommerce shop ? You are using the standalone plugin ? Not a good idea in my opinion. Better be independent and use the woocommerce plugin.
I am using the AliDropship WordPress plugin created for AliExpress Drop Shipping. i'm not using woocommerce plugin. Maybe i should consider it.
--UPDATE-- The dev team finaly fixed the problem. It took more than a week of live troubleshooting. I'm happy now but the problem remains. Is is worth it continuing to grow my traffic knowing that it could take that much time to fix the usual update problems?
Really, I would never spend any time on a little plugin made by a small team. Install woocommerce and use alidropship, ok, but use only alidropship, NEVER ! In my opinion it is only made for people who cannot build and manage a real website.
Just a question on the davinci theme. Next to the vertical menu of categories is it possible to have a slider, similar to the way ali express website is designed? I am trying to design a website as close to ali express as possible so just asking would the Davinci theme be capable of doing that or should I use another theme?
Hi Yaros, Impressive journey here! I have launched my store 3 weeks ago and even ran a promotion but haven't got a single sale. I am in the pet niche selling dog/cat apparels and accessories, and now adding some dog/cat theme jewelry and phone case for pet lovers. Still haven't seen a big improvement. I wonder how do you build your audience? What is your marketing techniques? I'm still new to the SEO and stuff but would really appreciate some feedback! Thanks, Mora
