    Dear all,

I'm going to make a 'Automate Open Directory Project' but I want to hear from your end. Actually all the directories are human edited and i'm also have a directory where i'm reviewing all the submissions myself. But Now-a-day.. I'm thinking to make a AODP where i'm willing to use crawler to index only home pages and it'll save a site to appropriate category. It's seem very hard to identify a website category by using crawler.... but i want to do. This upcoming automate directory will fully automate and manage by crawler where no human review required. It'll just like search engine crawler but the difference will be this crawler will identify a website category by indexing Title tag and page contents.

So, I want to know from you....if such directory will open, can I'll be success with it ? Actually i want to make a rough image what will be the future of such automate directory.

I'll share the domain name one it'll be on web.

    Thanks
    ASPMachine

Machines can do a wonderful job but there must be some sort of quality control.

Would it place the wikipedia explanation of porn in the banned category?

so you are going to have a directory with the same descriptions as every other one?
automated or not you are creating another website full of duplicate content.
why not put the time into having a directory with uniquely written listings rather than trying to find an easy way around it.

With respect those examples are classic examples of

DUPLICATING AN ENTRY DISPLAYED BY OTHERS ---- ie the site, a SE, a blog or similar display option

You need to change the Titles and the Descriptions - they need to be Original and Unique

Please edit your thread post and delete the last site at the bottom of the three ---- Thank You

Just change the url to the fake one :) My previous experience handling a directories manually, it take more times and a lot of work to do.But, it precious since we can control and banned the illegal site easily.
