I have registered around 5 domain names and a hosting account with a domain register. Today when i tried to pay my monthly hosting fees i have found that the website of the register has become a parking page. Can anyone help me how to get my domain names back.
You can do a whois.sc/yourdomain.com and check for the actual Registrar name as you most probably purchased from either a reseller or from someone who then manually registered the domain names for you. Use the whois info you get to contact the registrar about your problem.
Since myhomehost.com appears to be registered at ENOM, INC., chances are that your domains are at eNom, too. If you contact them and enquire about your domain names, then you might get back in control of them.
Based on what I hear about domains that were registered with RegisterFly .. eNom prices are rediculas (over $100 each). Good luck.
It is quite doubtful that your domain registrar disappeared (unless it was Register Fly). You likely purchased your domains via a reseller. As many have pointed out Enom is your registrar. I would contact them directly or visit their web site and management interface to manage your domains.
probably the registerfly reseller program, just contact both registerfly and enom and try to get some info on those. good luck!
I did a whois at http://www.allwhois.com and this is what I got Namecheap.com is still in existence. It could be a reseller of Namecheap. Just contact Namecheap and they will set you up.
When registering your domains pay attention if they are icann accredited registrar or just a second hand reseller. There are lots of issues I experienced working with these resellers. Here is a list of Icann accredited registrars: http://www.icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html Anyway regarding your case, namecheap will be responsible for that as the real registrar.
These types of posts serves to remind me time and again to register my domains with established registrars. I hope everything goes well for you and you indeed find your domain at namecheap.
The registrar you used must be a reseller of one of the leading registrars like godaddy/enom/directi etc. Do a whois first to check the resller name. Then contact their customer service, with proof of purchase. I faced this issue with one enom reseller account and enom customer service helped me to transfer it to another account for free.
I tried to transfer the domains to namecheap and found that those are registered through registerfly.com Can anyone advise me how to get the domains to my namecheap account.
Namecheap does not use Registerfly but eNom. I thought the domain name is already registered at Namecheap already according to the Whois I did. You just need your host to push it to you. Check if the whois details are yours and if so, write to Namecheap and ask them what you can do.
