    Hi!

i got the domain name www.studentz.fm. It expires on August 29th, i din't had the money to renew it two weeks ago so i told the people from my registrar that i will renew it shortly before it expires. Now, four days before expiration they tell me that my domain is registered by another registrar and they can't renew it. How is this possible? The domain is still mine, how can someone register it and take it away from me before it expires?

who is that crappy registrar ? when i checked the whois i got error mesage in domaintools for this domain.

all registrars should give 30 days (normally ) for normal renewal after expiry so u have the rights still

well, i guess i can say it loud! It's aletianic.com.

So, do you say that i have the right to renew after expiration date?

However, it'S for 100% sure that i can renew my domain before expiration date, isn't it?

What do you think i should do to get my domain renewed? Should i go to the administrator of .fm domains? Who is this?

You are within renewal date until 29th August and no one can take away this domain from you!!!
Send a note to your registrar and let them know about legal consequences as well.

Here is a note on Policy at dot.fm
Renewals: Domain names are registered on a yearly basis and require the domain holder to renew the domain name in order to maintain the rights to the domain name. ALL domains EXPIRE on the domain name's expiration date. As a result your rights to the domain name also EXPIRES on the domain name's expiration date.

just got an email from aletianic saying that my domain has moved into some kind of subaccount that i can't access. realy strange. However, i think they still got my domain and i am preety sure i can renew it.

I think i take advantage of this situation by transfering it to another registrar that has lower fees for .fm domains.
