I'm aware of the current copyright laws and ways to secure my future and the site like other sites such as piratebay / watch-movies.. etc is doing

It's just my fault for including "the simpsons" in my domain and I have learned from that. WTSO.NET along with many other small simpsons sites.. are fine as long as they have a host that will allow them to stay. The domain doesnt have anything to do with there rights only the content within it.

I've thought about it many times.. As MrHarper said, if i made a widely successful show and I had an offical site that only allow say just Canada.. If someone else opened a site that offered it world wide and it didn't hurt me from making a "comfortable living" and they didn't use zango/cpalead. I would allow them to stay online until such time I allowed the world to see the videos from my site.. But that's just me and how i was raised.

But reguardless its been placed into more of a side project while i work on an actual company for HD video hosting - stagehd.com .. Trying to work on other things as well.. But as long as FOX continues to filter then people will continue to make sites for TV shows made by them :)

From what i have seen yes.

IE. fordmotorcraft.com ... Ford is trying to take this domain just because it says ford in it.

or yourhallmark.com ... Hallmark will probably be stealing this one as well.

Two words: it depends. It depends on the person's intent, what content had
shown with the domain name, who you're dealing with, etc.

Look up "likelihood of confusion". That's what trademarks aim to prevent.

BTW, you may be thinking of the here-and-now rather than the larger implications.
Since your whois privacy has now been dropped, and you are in Canada (Not Panama, like your server.), they could decide to pursue you with bigger guns than just a UDRP.

    Hi,
thanks for the reply but still...i am not getting exactly....based on your reply i conclude that..there is not any fix rule for that...
its is depending upon trademark owner's interest..

You pretty much got it. That's why I included in my previous post it depends
who you're dealing with, especially if any laws apply in their area to enforce
    their rights, if any.

While there's no "international law" stating it's illegal to use domain names to
infringe on trademarks, let's just say there are certain things that they can do
to address them if they feel like it and if you're within their reach.

Not been replied to in about 2 weeks, but pretty much it is up to the owner to enforce their copyright/trademark rights. They can do it to whoever they want and allow others to use their stuff, while taking domains from some. They usually focus on the more popular sites (like the OP's)

Yes... because when Fox spends all of their money trying to protect their IP and it no longer becomes cost effective to either
    a) protect the content, which means you'll have no more visitors as anybody could host the videos for free, including youtube, etc. or,
    b) produce the content, in which case you have nothing to share.
(Yes, both of these statements are hyperbole, but do illustrate some fatal flaws with your stated position, no?)

Feel free to disagree with copyright law (Which does exist in Canada, by the way.), but at least be rational... ;)

Also - there is a strict word limit on UDRP's - the length of their mailing to you cannot be but so large, and probably wouldn't be more than a small branch of a tree :p

Did they send another thing to you? Instead of tyrying to profit from others' hard work, design something yourself.

You should migrate to another world as I would like to do.
I don't get why are you insisting in simpsons website and violating their "rights" again? I agree it is not the best law or internet and RL are not so "free" as they were meant to be.
Anyway, forget that domain and forget copyrighted charachters.
