my domain is for sale on SEDO... but not by me!

I was checking estibot for an estimate on the value of my domain car-domain.org. I noticed estibot said my domain was for sale on SEDO and it was but I'm not selling it. Someone is trying to sell my domain on SEDO! What should I do?

no, its not parked with sedo. I sent sedo an email telling them somebody was trying to sell my domain on thier site. I think that's all I can do for now.

Have you got the domain locked? If not I would put a lock on it.

Someone probably owned the domain before, had it parked/for sale with Sedo. Then they dropped the name. That's why Estibot is saying it's still for sale because Sedo still has it marked for sale from before.

As long as the status of your domain is locked, you don't have to worry. In any case, you might want to change the password of your domain registrar account.

Were you the original owner? As htmlindex has said, someone could have previously been trying to sell the domain name on sedo.
