my site is about graffiti,sharing images etc. what ive noticed now is people are writing graffiti of my domain name. Would I get blamed for this?graffiti is a big problem in my country thanks!
They could get annoyed at you and ask you to do something about it but as SmallPotatoes said, if you're not encouraging it you should be fine. Though I suppose discouraging it would do no harm.
yeah another thing... I have a sort of revenue sharing on my site. So they get x amount for 100 impressions on videos/pictures/articls about graffiti which they posted on my site. So would this fall under encouraging graffiti? thanks
If your caught doing graffiti,there is a 8,000 euro fine and sometimes they also make you buff it off so it is illegal.
So if I go and tag "Coca Cola" somewhere does it mean Coke can get sued? Nope. If you aren't encouraging it or asking people to do it then it's not your issue. Add a disclaimer saying you do not encourage nor endorse any illegal activity and that all uploads are by members who are ultimately responsible for the images produced on the site.
