    Hello,

My domain just got put on "hold" for apparently having invaild whois information.

Though it is my actual information. I have contacted them back but it has been almost 12 hours and no reply.. my site now doesnt work because of these pricks.. is there any additional steps i can take?

    Thanks,

    ~Joecool6101

You should have provided correct information in the whois. they put it in the hold because they found invalid data.

I don't really understand why people use fake WHOIS to begin with.. if someone were to steal your domain or so, you'd have no proof it was yours to begin with.

it was all correct info except my name.. i dont see how they could find that out.

I have got it resolved but they charged $10.. but i got privacy on it now so maybe jerks will go away.

If you are concerned, just get whois protection for all the domains, it isn't expensive, and plus like Nora said, you will want your correct info. in case your domain gets stolen
