My domain + Free Hosting On Blogger, Is that possible ?

I have a domain, I would like to know if its possible to setup a free hosting account on blogger while using that domain.

I have heard it can be done, I searched for it on blogger, but I can not understand the procedure. I am also not sure if thats meant for a mere redirection or they provide free hosting with our domain name ?

In case they do, can anyone pls tell me the setup procedure in detail, and in simple language, as I am new to this.

    Thanks!

It is real, but what for it is necessary?
Platform Blogger though is one of the best, but it is impossible to use for each page unique tag H1. So there is no possibility to add for each separate page "discription". I.e. in a case with Blogger you receive not a hosting, and only limited functional platform.
Here if there was an access possibility to PHP...

Yes of course you can do that. Change the domain name in Publish option on blogger and then change the DNS and CNAME, ANAME on your domain registrar. You are done, now you can host your files , data on blogger and use your own domain.

    All the best :)

The blogger help helps you at the above links. Here are a few points to know without going anywhere,

    1. With your google accout, you can signin in to blogger. You can write the blog normally and it will be displayed at username .blogspot .com

    2. If you want to use your own domain for that blog, you should go to publishing and add your domain name. You need to add CNAME for that domain name at your registrar. Now your blog will be shown at your own domain name. And your username.blogspot.com will use permanent redirect to your domain name.

    4. The blog must be hosted at subdomain only. You can use www subdomain. Also, you can use redirect from your root to the subdomain.

    3. The above set up makes it a free hosting service itself. But you cannot edit the core of blogger, you can only change the templates. You cannot put description and meta tags for each post, you cannot use php scripts, you cannot add your own pages, you cannot upload files etc...
