My domain expired for 5 days and i lost my #1 rank

    It was from godaddy where your site was nominated. It will be OK after some times if you take care your sites keyword and content refreshment. Once Google crawler visits your site will update again.

    The site is back up to #1 a couple days after i renewed it and it was online.

    Maybe you should consider registering it for a couple of years more , an important domain should never be expired.At
    least set it to autorenew.
