My dofollow/KeywordLuv WP blog

Hi all,

hope this is the right section. I wanted to tell you about my new personal blog on topics like science/politics/technology. It should get PR2 at the next update and it has good traffic already from people linking to my content without solicitation.

I decided to install the Dofollow and KeywordLuv plugins to see if I would start getting more comments that way. It also has Askimet installed, so please don't bother spamming!

Great job on your blog! Just a word, even with Akismet installed some spammers are still able to get through. Best thing to do is approve comments manually.

 

Thanks... I'm still looking for a decent theme but couldn't find anything I liked so far... pretty satisfied about the content, though.

Use Askimet and check manually combo works to keep spam away. As for getting more comments. You should start making comments on simple blogs. Check out this article I made called "Blog Commenting System" It makes commenting easier and faster.

 

Hi kush... nice social bookmarking plugin. I tried to install it on my blog but I display this symbol: ">>" before every bookmarking link. Did you have the same problem and, if so, how did you solve it? Thanks.

 

Since you have a blog you should set up the feed to update your DP account with your latest posts. Go into userCP and enter the feed address.

Meanwhile, for those who might be interested, this tactic seems to be working: I'm starting to get some relevant comments while others get to promote their products/website in a non-invasive way. I'm liking this so far.
There's no Google SERP penalization for using dofollow links, is there?

Google will not penalize you for dofollow links as far as I know.
