OK then, show me where he said that he submitted his site OR application more than once. Again: After 4-5 months of submitting my site and seeing nothing happen, I tried submitting an application for being an editor. At least to me he is saying that while waiting for inclusion, he applied to be an editor. He is saying: I tried submitting an application and not applications so, where does it says he submitted his site or application twice? fastreplies
Again, they said: "After 4-5 months of submitting my site" -- that means to me that they submitted more than once.
???means to me??? You must be joking? Since when facts start taking back sit in favor of some opinions? fastreplies
Yes I did, but it was a few years ago and I think tomorrow we will be releasing some figures to show how many editors were accepted last year. But you do not tell us how long you have waited for a response to your editor application. We do reply to those and if there is no reply over a reasonable time, something may have gone wrong. You can ask about that application here http://www.resource-zone.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11
Actually, I only submitted my site once to the DMOZ for inclusion. After 4-5 months, I submitted my application to be an editor. I believe these are two different submissions. =) Regardless, all of my sites I have worked on so far has been included into the DMOZ.
That suggests to me that your application was submitted recently, I asked how long ago and offered a way for you to find out what happened. You have not responded to either as far as I can see.
If you read the stickie at the top you will see that it can take from a few days to a few years for a site to be reviewed for a possible listing and no site is guaranteed a place. So don't hold your breath.
At least DMOZ is quicker for reviewing a submission than DP mods are for reviewing a Report Post report.
I applied to become an editor for a related category about a month ago. Only got automatic response so far that my application received and will be reviewed soon. Anyone knows how long does it takes to become an editor at dmoz?
ok i dont think more than 6 months,,, i submitted my site and if you have google analytics you should know when they visit your site,,, mine took 3 months and half ,, but the problem that who ever checked my website stayed 2 secs according to google analytics,,, i mean i got a really good website with lots of users and content i think it takes more than sec to view it ,,, and it was my first time submitting it to dmoz. So if you not submitted you really wont be able to know if they visited your site or no unless if you have google analytics. So i think they dont care anymore to add websites,, and really i dont need them and i dont think anyone does, i just work on my content and keywords and that what pushed my website.
I would ask in the Resource Zone Please be sure to read the guidelines about posting and how to post Good Luck.
