My Directory

I created gDotz a few days ago,

Featured Links are $5, they last for 6 months and are displayed before the other advertisments.

Regular links require no link back to gDotz.

Recipricol links are currently not working the way they are suppose to be (i want them to appear before regular links) but feel free to sign up as a recipricol!

The recipricol is also messed up on submitting a link (sometimes it'll say its not there but it is) if that happens, put it as a regular link and then ill check the site and if theres a link there, ill change it to recipricol.

 

With the featured, are you going to contact submitters after the 6 month period asking if they want to "renew"? Just curious.

 

yes, ill make sure to contact them.

Ill contact them through the email they used when signing up.

 

IMO, you should have one of the pricing options preselected on page entry.

Under Entertainment, I recommend categories for Music and Movies.

 

Multimedia under Computer would also be great.

Great; sure thing. I don't want any I have already submitted moved there. I will submit the ones that should go there now.

 

what do you mean?

im thinking you either mean:

~ having random featured links on the main page
~ putting "for 6 months" on the $5 feature links.

Ill do the 2nd one right now, and try to get the first one done whenver possible. Will also be adding more stuff to the directory (suggest categories, and contact us will be added first)

 

No. Actually, I meant something more simple. The radio buttons you have there now for selecting the type of submission that the person is submitting --- IMO, one of them should be preselected by default. That is, when I hit the page, one of them should already have the value equal to selected. It's very minor.

 

One other small issue... Is it just my eyes or is the font on the featured listings actually smaller than the regular listings? Just seemed strange since you'd think, if anything, they would be bigger, although I think they are the same on most sites. The font for the title, that is.

New template is being worked on and should be up by the end of the week.

 

'Suggest Categories' and 'FAQ' pages has been added, will try to add 'Contact' and maybe more if i think about it tommorow
