    Legal?
Maybe, but I doubt it. They are offering prescription medications without a prescription, which is generally not legal. However, legality or illegality depends on what jurisdiction they are doing business in. (The website doesn't say, does it?). That particular domain name has a Belgian address on the domain registration, is hosted in Bulgaria, and it uses a North American (probably U.S.) toll-free number, so it's anybody's guess what laws apply. However, that collection of geographic information tells me they are trying to evade the law.

    Moral?
That probably depends on your views on morality. ;) I definitely would not order products from anonymous online businesses like that one, and I definitely would not recommend anonymous online businesses like that one to my friends.

You have to decide whether your morality permits you to allow them to advertise in your directory. (That site is an advertisement, so a listing in a directory is also nothing more than an advertisement.) I would not list it, because if I would not want to recommend this business to my friends, I would not recommend it to innocent strangers, either.

    Dangerous to people's health?
Probably, because they are offering to sell prescription medications without a doctor's prescription, which can endanger their customers. In addition, customers could be in danger if the medications this outfit claims to sell are counterfeit, or if this outfit fails to deliver order.

    Other comments?
There are thousands of anonymous online pharmacy sites like this one on the 'Net. More sites like it are set up every single day. Meanwhile other sites like this one get shut down every single day. Think very hard about what this means for your directory before you start listing these types of sites.

You said that with assurance, Shahab. You must have very solid information in order to give such a firm answer. What do you know that tells you that particular site is legal?

I am also getting these types of submissions in my directory and they are not even submitting in the appropriate category. Sometimes they submit in "mobiles", sometimes in "computers", and sometimes in "business".
I think these people use some sort of software to submit to directories just to get quick back links.

Whatever, I just banned an IP from accessing my website.

P.S Space out the URL of the website above. Each quoted message will turn in a back link and a direct ad for them.

You will probably need to find a way to incorporate some kind of anti-spam module in your directory. Captcha's appear to defeat 99.9% of robots.

You should also require that an editor approve all requests for listings before they are automatically included in the directory.

You could combine automatic and people tests. For instance, you could develop a strict list of unacceptable words in domain names. Any which contain those words would need to be human approved.

Other domains could be tested against anti-spam lists and/or one which you build yourself. If they pass, they could be inserted into the directory -- but with a notice to the editor so the site could be visited to ensure it meets your criteria.
