Since March 5 my directory has stopped showing the Google PageRank for links. All of the sites submitted after March 5th now has N/A instead of PR. Nobody has touched the site's code. What that possibly could be and how should I correct it? thanks!
I realize this is a phpld script so obviously my first advice is for you to go over to their forums and ask. I do know that one of our team once upon a time used the same script, (before we made ours) and he has exactly the same problem, which was that the datacenter it was calling PR up from blocked his server IP. As said, probably asking over at theirs will help you better.
Install and run phpLD PR update tool (developed by Dan) at your phpLD directory. You can find it through search function here. DON.
Would I have been right Don? That it could be down to certain datacenters blocking the old PR gadget?
I don't know what people even bother to have PR on to be honest, especially now its so undervalued. Perhaps if everyone stopped paying so much attention to it they would consider getting rid of it altogether.
I got a job offer in very good company here, I thought to give it a short. The so called self proclaimed SEO Manager there.. asked me tons of questions, The second part of the interview was abt PR... ahhh... I got angry and asked him are you really a SEO Manager. The fucker took it in the wrongly..and said PR is a integral part of SEO... ahaahaha.. I realized I'll be working a bunch of losers. Hence called it quits. So you see the PR effect is everywhere.
