My Description in google

    Why is it that my wordpress blog has the wrong description in google? I have all in one seo plugin in my wordpress but the description that shows up is different from the one i wrote?

    searchengineoptimism.com/ it's a shame that this site is abandoned and decaying as most of the material written there is 2004 and earlier :eek: such a shame :eek:


    Anyways check to see if the meta tags in the html where <title>your title goes here</title> is the title you desire and also your content title for the page is the same as these are the prime sources for the google bots title crawl.

    Seems that your website was not indexed after you have changed your meta description tag. You need to make Google bot crawl your website again by getting few backlinks and by adding more content !!!

    Check your php file for the meta part to make sure your description is right. If so just wait Google reindex your page.
