My customer is driving me insane with this site

All of off my friends can see this website and they can see the new url that I made. Her friends tell me they can not see the new url and only get 404.

I try to do a sitemap but the sitemap only show the first page and nothing else like there was nothing else there.

I am remaking this site from an old webmaster so maybe he done something to sabotage me I do not know but I can not see it.

The sitemap will only show the first page as its a flash front page.

Also perhaps her friends are not seeing even the initial flash animation as they maybe dont have flash installed in their browser.

Id suggest putting some text links up either above or below the flash animation window.

 

the site seems to work for me. Maybe their IP is blocked by the server or something. Can they tell you what browser they're using?

 

Nicknick they are you using IE same as me.

Deregular not the hole site is flash but it will still block beucase of the link is in the flash is that what you mean?

 

Yes exactly. Because the links from the front page are in flash, a spider wont follow them. Thats why you see a lot of flash sites, with some text links, or at the very least, a text link to a sitemap at the bottom of the page.

I don't think your problem is with the links. I just had your site spidered to generate the sitemap below.

The site seems to be fine. Are you sure the people that can't see the site have the correct URL? Are they mentally challenged in any way?

I can tell you this that flash intro is HORRIBLE

Not looks wise, but loading time...... My connection does 1.5 meg down , and it takes like a while for it to load..........

Just my opinion......

 

I agree about the loading time. It's way too long. Takes forever on my computer too. And turn the sound down a little. It scared the shit out of me when it finally loaded.

 

i'll add to the viewpoint that it takes forever to load the flash... i only kept it loading in another window to see how long it would take. like the site and design, quicken the flash time and it's great.

 

Yes I can confirm that they are mentally challenged and that I am fighting with the old webmaster that does not give me the original file for me to take away this TERRBILE music. Neither do they let me transfer the domain they charge 100 dollar for. I am just here to try to help them and I have added a enter button on the page so that we can now spider it.

wow. all kinds of crooks in the world huh? Glad to have the confirmation on the mentally challenged part.

Double check that they have the correct domain name and ask them to reset their modem in case the other webmaster knows their IP and has blocked them to give you grief.

It could just be as simple as them going to the wrong URL since everyone here from different parts of the world can see the site and your clients are, after all, mentally challenged.
