I have been working on my directory's design, pieces by pieces. Its almost done now, except for a few tweak with the forms. Theres a few more mods to install. What do you think of the directory, in terms of a directory's requirement such as the SEO, usability, features that is available? Deluxe Web Directory
The design looks very clean. One thing on my screen was the grey used for the sub cat links, its a bit light, possible a little darker would improve contrast (on my screen at least). I guess one other thing would be content, other than the submitted links what are your plans as far as content goes? For good seo you will probably need to add articles or a blog to get some decent content in there. The forms look good, one thing was the anti-spam validator box is aligned to the left which looks unnatural given the rest of the form, for better flow it should probably be on the right. Just my opinions, overall it all looks great, nice job.
Here is the screenshot, do you get the same gray for the subcats? As i have mentioned, form still need some tweaking. In terms on content, i have SEO friendly RSS feeds on most of the detail page. You will notice the RSS button when you view the topsites or while browsing through the category. Thanks for your comment.
Hi again, yep its the same level of grey in your screenshot. Just a touch light for my screen, maybe I should adjust my gamma...
