My CTR went through the roof!!

My ctr went up about 20% in one day....

I am concerned that adsense might disable my account beacause of this. Should I notify them? Or should I wait it out and see if it goes back to normal?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreiciated.

It wouldnt hurt, thats not to high. But dont get freaked out to much

 

Well, if your CTR is more than 50% you should worry, if not then it's not a big deal since a lot of website have average of 15-20 % ctr depending on the ad-sense units on each page and their "cloaking" level.

it went from a usual 23% to 49%

 

I'd love to have such a high CTR. If you get even a CTR of say 50%, naturally, you shouldn't have to worry.

 

I feel the 20% ctr is a normal one as long as you do not manipulate the figure by clicking yourself. High CTR need not necessarily translate into high revenue. The ecpm is important. For me the ctr varies between 5 and 20 on a day by day basis.
