    Hey guys,

    Hope all is well!

    I need some serious help with my CTR. My site (www.Date-Rater.com) has Google AdSense Ads and i've been using them for about 4 months or so - here are overall my stats thus far...

    Page Impressions = 90,535
    Clicks = 72
    CTR = .08%

    My click-through-rate is
    HORRIBLE! - What are some ways to improve this for my site?? Are my ads positioned in good spots?? Should I use different ad styles/formats??...

    I also have a MySpace App for my site (www.date-rater.com/myspace/rate.php) - check it out! :) - I would imagine that my CTR would increase a little bit, but it hasn't.

    I NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP ON THIS! - PLEASE HELP!

    -Sean

    move your ads do a different position. get rid of the google banner ad and use text ads. try placing that ads by the sign up form

    I think this question should be in the adsense section.

    I would imagine that you would get a good click through rate by the way ur ads are setup.

    yes. try changing them to text ads and also putting them in a different location on your website. try it for a few days, if no success, try something else for a few days.

    just test and test. good luck :)

    Move you add above the fold, and to blend it in better.

    I have had better experience with text ads as opposed to banner ads. Also, try and blend the ads in with your content and not make it stand out. People tend to avoid looking when its obvious that its an ad.

    Unfortunately you are going to have bad CTR when it comes to this kind of site. LOTS of hits due to visitors watching several pictures but not too many unique visits.

    Drop me a PM and I can give you some advice on other methods of income that might fit better!

    You may or may not have thought about this but why not try replacing that adsense area with affiliate ads. You could potentially make a boatload more money.

    I have thought about using affiliate ads, BUT I really couldn't find any good affiliates that correlate to my type of site/app.

    Do you by chance have any good suggestions??...

    Let me know if you can - thanks!

    Well, I would consider it to be "below average" and I think a lot of others out there would agree on this - although it could be worse, if that's even possible
